Our small flock of 60 sheep is nestled in the Peshastin Creek Valley, near Leavenworth, Washington. The creek is fed from glaciers in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, hence our name. We are a farmstead dairy, which means we use our milk, from our animals, exclusively.
We choose to grass pasture our sheep (new grass everyday), purchase feed from non-GMO farmers, and continue the raw milk tradition that has advanced human kind for millenia.
We do not add natamycin (an antifungal ubiquitous in cheesemaking), artificial hormones, or antibiotics to our process. We make an ancient food in the age of food modernization.
